I have in my computer D4 C/S + update 3 and D5 enterprise + update 1 (+ 3rd party components). I had installed Indy 9.02B to D5 (does it even exist for D4?). And all worked fine. Now I installed D6 enterprise + update 1 and I wanted to install Indy to it as well. I tried to remove the Indy installation by Control panel Add/remove programs. It was not removed until I chose Component Install packages Remove and restarted the machine, but this invalidated D5, i.e. Only an empty form was displayed, and that's it.
So I had to remove but D6 and D5 and reinstall them again. The second time Indy was removed properly - keeping D5 usable - and I dubbelclicked the extracted IndyNet9_00_03.EXE installer. Indy got installed in D4 and D5 but not in D6.
Q: What's the proper installation sequence for Indy 9.0.3-B? How can I get to work in all three Ds?
A step by step guide would be nice, in other words an Indy installation for dummies. Juha Mets?kallas ---- Juha.Metsakal.@Tietotoimi.fi.
