Quentin Harris No Politics Rare
2004 Copyright (c) – Quentin Harris/Space Kat Records Producer - Quentin Harris Written By – Cordell McClarey Back in 2004 Cordell McClarey, Quentin and I were sitting around my apartment and they asked me for an idea for a song. I said, “Why don’t you do a song about something you do a lot, traveling?” About an hour later Cordell had basically written the entire song and about three hours after that the song and the vocals were laid down and done.
The rest is history. Quentin has been giving me his tracks for years to get my feedback. I came across this version and not realizing I had it, I asked him if I could post it. He says he’s never played it out before but he gave me the okay. It was done sometime after the Original Unreleased version. I love the Original but I also like this different take on the track. So here it is and we hope you like it.
Quentin Harris has become one of the most in. Harris’ success has been built on the rare ability to straddle. Quentin Harris is the man who can. Download Vee Re Iketlile.

And on this song Jason Walker and I have created is a very personal and a testament to another quote that says 'what doesn't kill us makes us stronger.' We had no idea of what we were going to make that day in my studio, but boy did he and I have something to say!' - Quentin Harris One of NYC's finest House Music producers, Quentin Harris, makes a grand return with a dynamite new single with regular vocalist cohort Jason Walker titled 'Stronger'. A song that speaks of empowerment after moving on from a toxic relationship, 'Stronger' sees Jason belt out a heartfelt power-vox over a Soulful piano led groove, drizzled with brass stabs, delicious harmonies and Quentin's signature Hammond slaying. Also the Def Mix daddy, David Morales, flexes his studio skills, delivering a pumped up 'Muscle Mix' armed with a beautiful breakdown that's laced with strings and piano smash the peak time floors.
Without needing too much of an introduction, New York DJ / Producer Quentin Harris has been a fundamental cog in the wheels of House Music for many years, with his pioneering deep and soulful sounds resonating around the globe's dance floors. Having released 2 albums to date, 'Sac•ri•fice' and 'No Politics', his success has been built on the rare ability to straddle genres effortlessly, with productions that gracefully sit between the soulful end of the Shelter and the tougher sound that many European audiences demand. Danny Tenaglia called it Hard and Soul and Quentin surely lives up to it. Quentin is now part of the legendary Def Mix Family and continues to fly the flag globally with his unique blend of House Music. Quentin has written and recorded with the likes of Monqiue Bingham, Robert Owens, Byron Stingily, David Morales, Ultra Nate, Jason Walker, Inaya Day and Joi Cardwell.
He has also remixed everyone from Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Femi Kuti, Blaze, Tortured Soul, Dennis Ferrer, Bah Samba, Black Coffee, Barbara Tucker and many more. In addition to 'Don’t You Forget About Us' from Mariah, and Not Like Crazy' by Jill Scott, one of his benchmark rubs was a sneaky re-production of Leela James’ 'My Joy' which was a massive hit. After a small hiatus from the recording studio, Quentin is now well and truly ready to reclaim the dance floors this season with his new single 'Stronger' with Jason Walker. Singer Songwriter Jason Walker is an enigma. Plain and simple. He just can't seem to decide if he wants to be a Pop artist, or a Dance artist.so he just does it all! He recorded 2 albums 'This Is My Life' and 'Flexible' with the Legendary Junior Vasquez which spawned singles, 'Set It Free' and 'Foolish Mind Games', which peaked at # 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart.
Since then Jason has gone on to work with seminal producers Bimbo Jones, DJ Grind, Honey Dijon, Tony Moran, Lenny Fontana, Alex Peace, Brian Boncher, C-Rod and Quentin Harris. Having worked extensively with Quentin on his projects, Jason has featured on acclaimed singles 'Foolish Mind Games', 'Can't Stop', 'Circles' and 'Home'.
