Here is my previous post, I hope it helps you: In 1949, Savage began stamping a tiny, lightly impressed oval on the lower, front side of the 'lever boss'. The “lever boss” is the extension of the lower part of the receiver into which the lever fits and rotates.

The serial number is 1070xxx and I have had it at least 35 years years and think I only fired it about 10 times. I bought it used. It is a Model 99M. Any idea what year it was made with that serial number and '10P' on the lever boss? Any idea what it might be worth?
