I'm currently on my honeymoon in Durham, NC., my wife and I like checking out thrift stores, so we stopped at one that happened to be next to a pawn shop. In Massachusetts we don't have many of those so I really didn't know what to expect. There was lots of junk of course, but this popped out. I can't tell what year it is, but has a nice three piece plain top, set neck, Gibson headstock, and plays decently well despite its need to have the truss rod adjusted and have the nut slots cut a bit deeper (I'll take care of that when I get home). Got it out the door for $400 including tax and a gig bag. Yeah, most Lord Players have a weird notch in the middle of the storybook headstock, so I'm guessing yours is earlier (pre-lawsuit). I've actually been reading up on this model, and apparently they weren't introduced until 83 or 84? So I don't know what to believe.
