If the old oil has not already seized parts, it soon will, unless these old oil deposits have been removed and re-lubricated with a modern non gumming oil. Various degrees of gummy oil deposits may require several minutes or even weeks for the safe solvents we use to free up the Elna, so it is not a 'hurry up' job.
